Sheetal Mandora
"I dreamed of a wedding of elaborate elegance,
A church filled with family and friends.
I asked him what kind of a wedding he wished for,
He said one that would make me his wife."

A summer wedding means beautiful outdoors. During this time, the occasion requires you to make some bold decisions right from the color combination, flower decorations, the bridal gown, food, to pretty much anything you can think of that needs to be perfect for the wedding.
But the first thing you need to figure out is the theme; because once you choose a theme, it will definitely be smooth sailing from there on.
Themes to Select From
Here are 3  of our favorite themes that we adore and like to see during summers.
Butterfly Theme
Butterfly Theme
A lovely, romantic wedding theme can be inspired by the beautiful and graceful butterflies. Select wedding invitations with colorful and majestic butterflies on the card. Your wedding gown can have sewn applique butterflies, along with the bridesmaids dresses with smaller butterflies sewn on their sleeves, neckline or hem.
As for the table decoration, you could place floating butterfly candles as your wedding centerpiece and keep cute butterfly name card holders on each table. You can also give butterfly-shaped cookies, floating candles and butterfly candies as a wedding favor. Even your wedding cake can be designed accordingly with gorgeous butterfly decoration over it. You can go with all-white or vibrant, color scheme for your butterfly theme, all you need to do is play around with the idea and think how to make it look unique.
Victorian Theme
Victorian Theme
If you see your wedding to take place in a garden and adding an old world charm to it, pick Victoria garden theme. For a vintage Victorian wedding, you can choose colors like cream, blue, terracotta, ecru, pastel greens and yellow. Mix and match these colors or go with one of them to create the entire wedding decoration. You can add Victorian capes, cameo brooch on the neck, beaded clutch purses, lace handkerchiefs and bustles on the dresses, for the bride and her bridesmaids.
Dress up the groom and the best man in morning coats with vests, folded cravat, and colored gloves. For the invitations, you can choose an image of a horse-drawn carriage which will give your guests an idea of how to dress for the occasion. Choose the venue, either a Victorian style mansion, church, or Inn which has a view of a beautiful garden and long veranda. As for wedding favors, surprise your guests with scented oil bottles (rose, lilac or jasmine), cameo chocolates, Victorian fans or bookmarks and/or decorative teacup set. As one of the unique wedding themes, Victorian setting is a great choice where you can decorate with beautiful flowers like roses, gardenias, pansies, orange blossoms, and lilies.
Rose Theme
Rose Theme
No theme is complete without the mention of roses. The vibrant color and fragrance of roses has the ability to take on the entire celebration. Here as well, you can choose either one, two or a rainbow of roses. A casual setting for all types of wedding themes can allow the decorations to include roses. You have tons of colors to choose from, such as red, pink, green, yellow, blue, and purple.
Bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses can have contrasting, yet flattering roses embroidered on them. Opt for pastels rather than bright colors here, so that nothing makes the entire look of the wedding too bold. Same goes for the invitations and decoration of your wedding, where the rainbow of roses can brighten up your celebration. As wedding favors, opt for love candles, rosebud-shaped chocolates and/or scented rose soap petals.
